Teena Hughes sews the wallhanging to be part of the ATASDA Maharajah's Garden Travelling Exhbition, starting March 2010. The handpainted silk elephant is vibrant and decorated with flowers as they do for the Jaipur Festival in India. Mar 4, 2010 - Hi there, for this project I used Sandwashed silk, a delicious fabric which is shiny on one side. Perfect for clothes, and heavier than habotai which is what I needed for a wallhanging. Thanks for dropping by! Cheers Teena
