Should I ? Bernard Ette and the Oskar Joost Orchestra recorded 1931 with KRISTALL, maybe it is one of these Orchestras, maybe another. It doesn´t sound to me like a studioband. Listen also to "Am Kamin" from the same session, it´s really a good band : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLuyiTuWZ7c "Lord Byron of Broadway", also known as "What Price Melody?", is a 1930 American musical drama film, directed by Harry Beaumont and William Nigh. It was filmed in black and white with two-color Technicolor sequences. In 1928, MGM announced it was going to turn the novel Lord Byron of Broadway into a musical starring stars William Haines and Bessie Love, but both refused the roles. The composer Ignacio (Nacio) Herb Brown (some sources indicate his birth name was Ignacio Herbert Brown) was born in Deming, New Mexico. In 1901 his family moved to Los Angeles, where he attended Manual Arts High School. His music education started with instruction from his mother, Cora Alice (Hopkins) Brown. Brown first operated a tailoring business (1916), and then became a financially successful realtor, but he always wrote and played. After his first hit "Coral Sea" (1920) and first big hit, "When Buddha Smiles" (1921), he eventually become a full-time composer. In 1928 he was hired to work in Hollywood by MGM and write movie music for the new medium of sound film. For his film work, he often collaborated with lyricist Arthur Freed. This collaboration produced Singin' in the Rain. Nacio Herb Brown died in San Francisco, California, aged 68. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1970. Other famous Brown compositions: All I Do Is Dream of You, Broadway Melody, I've Got a Feelin Youre Foolin', Pagan Love Song, Singin' in the Rain, Wedding of the Painted Doll, You Are My Lucky Star
